Entrepreneur Incubation Application
The Livelihoods Innovation through Food Entrepreneurship (LIFE) Project seeks to support members of the refugee and host community in Turkey develop sustainable livelihoods in the food industry. With two Food Enterprise Centers (FECs), in Istanbul and Mersin, our objective is to provide the necessary support as you plan, launch and grow your food-based business.
Entrepreneurs, or members, who join the LIFE Project entrepreneur incubation program commit to four months of business incubation. The incubation experience includes 60 hours of in-class or online training and business support services including coaching, information about business registration, access to finance, and much more. Members are encouraged to use the FEC to develop and grow their businesses, taking advantage of the commercial-grade kitchen, and space for meetings, events and co-working.
The LIFE Project entrepreneur incubation program and access to facilities are currently subsidized for participating entrepreneurs, though a membership model is under development and some additional services may be offered at a fee.
